Here is a really special Boss that was given to be by Dave. It is 1 of only 100 pre-pre run bosses. These first 100 bosses were made for Dave when he won the world title.
These bosses were made before the big star stamp run. :D

This disc is by far my most precious collectible. I am very blessed for living 60 miles away from some of the best disc golfers on the planet. :D

You killed me with the Thumbtack. You removed its collectibility and playability in one push of one thumb. :(

Look closer the thumbtack is behind the disc not through it....:p
I had to take a second look though I thought the same thing at first glance.

I did have to look close. The picture apeared to me to be a bottom stamped disc tacked to the wall
I feel better now.

LMAO... you guys! I would NEVER do that... especially to my "Most collectible disc" har har har i will post a picture of my wall in another thread. stay tuned. By the way... a plastic thumbtack works damn good for hanging your discs on the wall, until someone slams the door... hehe
As for being lucky... yes i do feel lucky to know dave. He is a great guy, and a super badass disc golfer.

Yeah it is a really clear disc... there is almost zero cloudiness in the plastic on the rim.

Yeah, good thing you DIDN'T thumbtack it! That collectible would have gone from $30 dollars down to like, oh, $20!
Now honestly for you disc collectors out there, what is truly the most valuable disc? Can't seem to find my Beckets Disc Golf Price Guide anywhere.
Price wise. I know I know that collectibles have sentimental values, but price wise. Lay it on me. I believe ALL discs should be air born, even your first ace disc. That's why god created plastic. or man, or something like that.

I have a mint condition 8X KC Roc at 178 g's. The highest offer I've gotten for it is $300.00, but I'm not interested in selling it. I've seen the '01 CE USDGC Rocs sell for over $1,000. It seems to me there was a small initial run of CE Rocs before the USDGC Rocs, and those have sold for crazy money...like $4,000. That's all before the economy tanked, but the CE Rocs are definitely the holy grail of golf discs.
Not that a $4,000 disc will take any strokes off you game, especially if it is hanging on your wall.

You are correct sir... The first run of CE rocs was primarily a test run. Feldberg has one of these discs that you mention... it has a ton of bubbles and flaws... but hey... its the FIRST champion roc on the planet. I have seen said disc with my own eyes... absolutely clear disc, no stamp, WOOT.
I was allowed to hold it in a plastic bag for 14 seconds. :)
heh

hehYeah, supposedly there was one that had one bubble in the rim. The rest had 10+ bubbles. I think there was only around 40 of them run. Most of them were never thrown, so the bubbles are a moot point.

Yeah this particular roc had maybe 20+ bubbles in the rim. it was pretty crazy looking... the clearest plastic i have ever laid eyes on... It looked like it was made out of old clear soda bottles, it was that clear.

its funny that he states in his auction... i will be raising the price to $2000 after a week.
So this guy thinks its gonna be easier to sell it for more money? And he states that he doesn't care if it sells... but yet he is PAYING ebay to have it for sale?
