How to custom dye

I've seen some threads around here and there about dying discs yourself. I've always wanted to customize all my discs. But I don't want to mess up any of them either. Can anyone please point me in the right direction with some basics rules of thumb for disc dying? Any help is appreciated. Thanks amigos!!:)

just finished my first dye job. hope the pic gets up with this post, not sure if i did it right. just went with something easy.
