I won a Cryztal Z putter the other day at a local weekly event, but it's so pristine and pure and stuff that I don't want to damage it. What do I do?

you think that's rough?
I've got a CryZtal FLX Challenger over here! They've only ever made 1 run each of 3 different discs in CryZtal FLX!
Fortunately the other 2 CryZtal FLX discs I picked up used, so they've got small amounts of damage or I wouldn't ever throw them.
BTW: BuZzz and Avenger SS were the same tourney (Players cup maybe?) and the Challenger is stamped from a diff tourney same year...

Yup 2007 player's cup Here's an Avenger SS for sale on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/LIMITED-ED-DISCRAFT-CRYZTAL-FLX-AVENGER-SS-DISC-GOLF-/130376297882?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5b086d9a)

If you have somewhere where you collect discs and display them, thats one thing. Outside of that, what good is a disc if you dont throw it?

Cryztal is common, and replaceable. Throw it!

Only discs I WON'T throw are odd balls that are OOP that I only got to collect, discs that are way too beat to throw, or ones with a REAL rarity or sentimental value to me.

Buddy bought a Cryztal Buzzz. Put it in the closet... he then sold it a few months later.

Thinking about it, I do have a Puma and Banshee I dont throw or display, but they are more retired and have been thrown. Puma doesnt get thrown because I cant replace it easily and I cut my teeth with that disc. Banshee is one OH away from splitting in half and was my OH disc for years.

I wouldn't use it. Not because it's new, but because Cryztal Z has less grip on the chains.

Just throw it.

It's actually a pretty resilient plastic. My Cryztal Z Buzzzes haven't nicked at at all and I've been throwing one of them for about 3 months now.

I would never use Cryztal plastic for a putter.
But if you have a disc, throw it or stow it.
Quit thinkin about it and do.

I use a Cryztal Z Challenger plastic for my drives and approach shots. If the stamp has sentimental meaning for you then maybe save it. If not, just throw it.

Throw it, you Nancy!

The stamp may become mildly sentimental over time, but probably not sentimental enough not to throw it. The "Throw it, you Pansy" votes have it. And this may actually work well as a glow disc, since an LED will shine right through. :)

"POW!" (from Stepbrothers)
Use it to drive, as it is stable and will handle the flight well. Just don't putt with it.

I've already got a Cro for that, but I'll give it a shot. I'm already thinking of a couple of holes to try driving with it on.

I don't buy any discs that I'm not going to throw, partly because I don't have the disposable income to spend on expensive discs if I want to have gas money to get to new courses, and partly because it just seems silly to me.

I was hoping for images of thrashed crystal as responses.
I would throw em. Discraft stuff is not collectible (unless you got first run buzzz's) and aren't worth much as collectors. Their discs are great throwers though.

This poll over yet! Love the feel of the buzzz and they aren't that rare.

I love Cryztal Buzzes for upshots ~200' in. They hold lines well for me and have aton of glide. Cryztal Challenger on the hand never really worked for me. It's too rigid and slick, I like the soft gummy plastics for my putters. Driver with it is less of an issue, but it just didn't cut it in the bag.

they are not rare at all. I pick them up for like $16-18 on ebay. Or I know a local disc retailer that always has tourney discs for sale. Or just about every midprint deal has at least one. They are pretty easy to trade for.

I didn't put a time limit on the poll, but I went with the "Throw it, you pansy!" crowd that's clearly showing a supermajority, and am more or less satisfied with the results. And it still doesn't have a mark on it.

Lol so does this mean they still have FOP discs they're giving out, Lewis?
