Apparently Trees and Disc Golf Targets don't take to kindly to eachother. Check out what happened on one stormy night in Allentown, Pennsylvania at Jordan Creek Park (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=32). A tree was blown down at Hole #16 and landed right on top of the Basket. The results were quite amazing. See for yourself! There are 7 pictures of this amazing display of power located Here! (http://www.lvdiscgolf.org/main/myalbum+photo.lid+144.htm) The pole went right through the tree!! Who would have thought that a tree would be so weak compared to a Disc Golf Target...

I've seen worsely smashed baskets... this one almost looks salvageable.

I heard about this when it happend. Some guy on DGRUS posted it. That tree mashed that basket up good.

Thats one smashed up basket! The basket definitely lost that fight.

Imagine playing a round and coming up on that hole. If that happened right before a tourney, would they have to play it as is?
