What you will need:
(3) or more putters of the same weight
(1) addiction to disc golf :D
I was putting in the back yard this evening (light wind, level ground) trying to discover my confidence ring and no-stress zone. The confidence ring is where you make more than 50% of your putts, and the no-stress zone is where you make ALL your putts on any given day. I found my confidence ring at 25' and my no-stress zone at 10'. This is how I did it.
Measuring from the pole, mark-off at 10', 15', 20', 25', 30'
Keep one putter in your hand and set the others on the ground.
Start at 10' - putt
If you make it, then step back to 15' pickup your next disc - putt
If you miss it, eliminate that putter, and go back to 10'.
Anytime a putt is missed, you move closer to the basket and that putter is eliminated.
Note the distance where you make all your putts (no-stress zone) and the distance where you missed some of your putts (confidence ring).
The object of this game is to keep all your putters.

This game was not in the video.

You start over again with all your putters.
You'll eventually get down to one disc. See how long you can keep the game going with just that one disc.

Not a problem, use what you have. All of my putters are the same weight, give or take 1-2 grams. I do this for consistency.

Is this your version or HORSE for disc golf? There is a course in Houston (TC Jester) that has cement markers in a outward spiral (whatever name for the golden ratio) that you can basically warm up on by playing around the world. I like to make it from every spot in two shots before I begin my round. It's kind of addicting.

I saw the thread title and thought it would be about putting with a disc not identified as being a putter. I putt with a Roc.

There you go - now it's totally clear to everyone. Basically, a spinney sea shell (if Archimedes Spiral leaves you confused). Either or - it's a cool feature.

I don't know why all courses with practice baskets don't do that... it's cheap and easy to do. Another nice touch that adds to a course.
