View Full Version : Hole O'the Day for July 6th, 2010

Hole 3 at IUP College Lodge in Indiana, PA.
From the hole info it looks like there are 2 tees, 154 feet, and 216 feet. I'm not sure which tee this is, and from the scorecard, it looks like there are 2 pin positions. This is the only photo listed for this hole.
It looks like poke and pray time with a Wizard or Buzzz for me, depending on where the basket actually is.

Long - Z Buzzz

I'm assuming the basket is down that path so...
Short: Ion. Either flat or hyzered between down the path.
Long: Assuming its the same shot (just further back), then the same, but I might debate a Buzzz.

Just going Ion for both. Shouldnt matter as I wouldnt look to park it but rather just navigate the trees.

rhyno from either length

Great course, played this a couple times this past spring. What looks like a path on the right hand side of the photo is the "fairway." This picture appears to be taken from the long tee as far as I know. Pin is probably in the center of the picture--just behind the multi-trunked tree that's being outlined by two skinnier trees. I've only played that pin position.
In any case, I Rhyno each shot. It's a slight bend to the right at the end for both pin positions, but it's more severe for the short shot. Flippy Rhyno for the shorts, stable Rhyno for the longs.

ion or buzzz for me. Trying not to hit as many trees as possible.

I want to say that I would thumb something here. I like overhand shorts when there are a lot of trees.
Dart...maybe Mako from long

It is hard to see the basket on this one, so depending where it sits and the angle, either a Voodoo, or Meteor.

Have played here more than any other course. At least once a week since it went in the ground. This picture is from the blue tee and is an easy buzzz shot just to the left of the very skinny tree close to middle of picture. From white tee, it's a simple putter shot. With the slope of the fairway, most shots will slide right after landing. Pin is behind big dark tree in the center of the picture, A-pin. B-pin is right of that about 50 feet.

Champ Rhyno flick, either position. (I just recently put this guy back in the bag, and forgot how accurate a flick putter is)

Either an Ion or a Stingray.. probably the Ion
I'm looking to go with a turnover or slight anny...
