In advance, I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense. It's 4 am and I'm tired.
So today I was out on the course and I was sinking every putt. I tried a new way of throwing and basically, I was a monster. Everything inside 40' was in the basket. But I'm not sure what it is. Its hard to explain, but I pull the disc back and when I follow through it basically looks like I'm leaning over so fall I'll fall. And then I run a few strides after I release the disc to avoid falling :p. I can't really explain what else I was doing, it just came naturally haha. Basically, from what I described, is there a name for something like this or did I create my own type of monster?
Its solely inspired by the Climo picture down there, but I looked up a video of him putting and my way was much different than his.

you're doing a falling putt, he's doing a putt jump.
The problem is that if you're within the 10 meter circle your way of putting would be against the rules.

i wouldnt call my putting style a "jump putt" really, but i know what you are talking about as far as leaning forward goes. after i started extending my body forward during the release, i noticed my accuracy going up

Everyone putts better, it's your follow through. Not doing it shows laziness, fluffing your putt, wussing it, etc. I still do it during my warm up routines but once I get loose, I extend better, lean into and start banging them down.
I've had to tell myself a lot, "lean into your putt and follow all the way through"...Once I do, it comes naturally and I start making more.

Mine, too. I straddle putt, BTW, but this all applies to forward momentum.
My tendancy has been to try and use too much wrist, which creates a fluttery flight pattern that goes right. Every time. When I use a bit more body and more "pop" from the shoulder and upper body, I get a more direct line to the basket.
I can putt well (okay, well enough) at 25 ft, and can jump putt okay at 40-45 ft, it's the edge of the circle putts, that are toughest, because I'm trying to generate the speed, without moving forward or leaving the ground.
Whether you fall, walk thru, jump, or push up on one foot (like Climo does) it's all using more body to get behind it.

a lot of my friends tell me to square my shoulders up with the basket, but after watching my neighbor practice putting for a little while, i couldnt help but notice he was doing the same thing i was (whats been described by myself and a couple other people). he's a pro on discraft's travel team, so i felt like i was at least doing SOMETHING right with my putting for a change

Almost looks like Climo is putting a black organic Wizard in that pic. Has the same color of stamp as the ones I have but zooming in I cant see it. I'm sure its a black Innova something or rather.

Close, but not exactly. More like 1:01 I'd say.
And yeah, it was a picture from an event at a ball golf store that recently took up disc golf in the area. They only carry Innova and Vibram but :\

The rulebook says 10 meters. I am pretty sure its 32 feet and 9 inches in standard.

Jump putts are illegal from that range too right?
Now I'm gonna have to get a 10 meter rope, tie it to my basket, and spray paint a circle in the back yard. Grrr
