If anyone has info. on courses strictly for use with mini discs post it here. I've heard of a few with Innova Mini DISCatchers but I have no idea where they are. We use our Wham-O sets and make our own, but I'm wondering about real permanent courses.

i just got some new minis and would love to rock them in a mini bag. have you guys seen those? they look like the nutsac bag but really small for minis, they hold like 5-7
or you can flash back to the 90s and rock a fanny pack...

I know they're pretty big in Canada, esp Ontario, if u live up that way or r planning to visity any time soon. Here's my idea--use the picnic tables in any park for targets. I made up a little game that involves landing bottle caps (the plastic kind) on picnic tables. It turns out that bottle caps make excellent little discs, but u could certainly use your minis. You start at one table and shoot to the next, then the next and the next, and this is your 'course.' You could just add your shots like in golf, although I came up with a scoring system that puts a premium on landing on the table and sticking the shot. 2 points for a miss, 1 for a hit and bounce and 0 points for a 'stick.' Hope u try it!

Peoria Frisbee Club holds an annual event that they call "Grill & Disc"
2 rounds of regular DG with lunch and a Mini round in between.
The Mini round is a BLAST. Everyone who has a Mini basket brings it to set up the temp Mini course.
>>>The Innova "Mini Driver" is the shizzle. These things are like throwing a dart, decent distance too.

The Grange (permanent) & Bryan's Big Country Course (temp) in/around Fredericksburg, VA.
Mini Disc Golf Federation (www.minidiscgolf.com (http://www.minidiscgolf.com)) is a good source for all things mini.

i just got a bonus gift in a trade with someone, in between my two discs in the trade was a camo vibram mini. never threw a vibram mini, but i think they fly the best out of all the ones i have tried to throw. the vibram one actually flies flat and fast

Sweet trade. I'm trying to put a mini basket in my classroom for a reward system.

I won a Discraft mini star in a tourney raffle. Awesome flyer. Looks just like an ultimate disc but only 4.5" Diam. Holds whatever line you put it on. I also have some Lightning minis that are overstable and super beefy. Lastly I got some minis called "Jelly Flyer", thin soft and floopy, understable but perfect for throwing in the house without breaking stuff.

I was going to mention a few of the ones above, I played all the Lancaster Mini courses this past weekend, and while talking with Don at Beaver Creek he mentioned the IDGC course there working on, and that the granges mini baskets were his product. While I was at Lucky Mudd in Washington, I noticed they had some mini baskets, I don't know if there is a full course but something else to do if you head out that way

If there aren't any mini courses in your area, I'm telling you that using picnic tables for targets really works well! Of course some layouts will be better than others and it's probably better if the tables aren't being occupied, lol. If occupied, just avoid from diving into the potato salad, and you should be fine ;)

i made a mini "tone pole" with a christmas tree stand and a 2x4, i plan on just screwing a piece of plywood in the shape of a rectangle, about the size of a mini basket, and just making sort of a 2-D basket

The put all the mini baskets on clearance at our local Albertsons. The are only $12 and are almost the exact same as the Wham-O ones.

Just curious, but for those who have played mini courses, what kind of distance do u get with your minis? Do u use different minis for different shots like in big DG?

oh wow, that's awesome! I was just wondering how minis would stack up to throwing bottle caps, but I think minis would win--lol. You can throw some crazy shots with caps though, including overhand shots. I should make a youtube video! Do u have a youtube channel?
Search for courses in Lancaster, PA on here. About half of the first page is made up of mini courses, I think.

Zing snipe minis up 120 feet for me wide open. Vibram is money for putting. Just started really throwing minis and now have a mini
Basket may need another if they are cheaper. Oh and more minis

What's the best mini basket? I see some going for like $100, but wouldn't the cheap Wham-o's work just as well?

Spend the $100 once, or keep buying/fixing the wham-o

For all you mini fans out there, you need to try the bottle-cap game. One HUGE advantage of it over minis is that you don't need baskets! You just play to the picnic tables down at your local park. See my signature for details...
