Hello Discgolfers! :)
I wish to invite you all to discover the new 'Tuscany disc golf' course opened this spring in Italy, the first among Tuscan agriturismi (http://www.pietrabuona.com/tuscany-disc-golf-course-italy.html)to offer frisbie golf.

Our 9 hole frisbie golf course, goes through an olive grove, into an open forest and ends in a picnic area. After your round of golf you can recover by enjoying our locally produced food.

As you can see a round of frisbie golf at Pietrabuona estate also lets you leisurely explore the Tuscan countryside. It is especially wonderful during the harvest season when olives, chestnuts, and porcini are plentiful. Have fun!"

Looks like ALOT of backtracking.

But that must be where "leisurely exploring the Tuscan countryside" comes into play. :p

:D the coutryside is terrific! you'll love it...and that will give you a good reason for backtracking :) and at the end there is a picnic area that is the 'high spot' of the whole course
Don't forget that the place is between Florence and Lucca, so you can enjoy Discgolf and day tours around Tuscany.

My family is in Viareggio and Bargeccia. This just adds one more reason to head back to see where my grandparents grew up.

:) Viareggio is VERY nice to visit at any time of the year... Tuscany disc golf and our Pietrabuona farmhouse are are at only 30 minutes drive. Viareggio has the most famous beaches in Tuscany and from april to october you can enjoy it very much! during winter season you can enjoy the Carnevale di Viareggio one of the biggest carnival festivals in Italy.
Bargecchia is very near Viareggio, a to the marble mountains of Carrara! Let me know once you organize your trip ;)
