It's been a while but it seems to be about time for another round of personal tags.

The tags are once again available for pre-order in the DGCR Store (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/store). I'll be taking pre-orders for 2 or 3 weeks and then I'll place the order. From that point, you guys should see them in about 2 weeks. I will post plenty of reminders as the window to order them is coming to an end.

I don't think they're metal, but they're pretty sturdy hard plastic. They definitely don't bend. timg can probably give you the inside scoop.

I can say that they've got a decent thickness to them, do not fade/scratch/wear very easily (even with other tags rubbing against them), and generally seem to hold up very well. Mine looks like new after *many* rounds and bumping against other ish on my bag, etc.

The backing of the tag is 1/8" acrylic and then there is an engraving stock set on top of that that's laser etched with the logo, your name, etc.

It really complimented my bag. I'll just throw this out there again. If you are iffy about the chain, do what I did. Attach it with a Key Ring. ...a BIG key ring! Then put it on a carrabiner. Carabiner. Carra... The clippy thing! ;)

Swap=The two people swap cards and wright their info on the cards(You do not swap back you keep that one.)
Play=Play Disc Golf with the person you just swaped with.
DGCR=Come back to DGCR and talk about and keep using the site(Make sure your new number is updated on the master list.)
Repeat=Do it all over again.

Attach it with a black zip tie. Black because it wont get busted down by UV rays and zip tie cuz that thing wont come off.

I thought the little chain looked to delicate for me, so I just used a normal 1inch key chain ring I got from the hardware store for .25$. It has worked like a champ for the two days I've had it.

Go buy a mini carabiner. I got mine from Camping world for two bucks. Works great.

How could it possible be broken? If you mean that one end wasn't connected to the other, that's how I sent it.

Anyway, I've used that chain on my bag for around 2 years now. I double looped it and haven't had any issues to date.

i did the same thing, but i need a beefier key ring i guess. cause mine is all "uncoiled" after i put it on :\

Naw, I mean that it was broken in the middle. One of the little balls had opened up and let the connector thing out. I figured it was just a faulty chain.

In any case, I was going to go with the carabiner.

I'll post when they're available. The old ones get retired.. hang them on the wall or save them in a drawer :) The 2011's will be a new color and they're going to be the first tags that can be used with the new travel tag feature I'm creating for the site. The tags will actually be here any day now but I can't release them until I finish this project up.
