OK So finally the rain has stopped so I went out for a quick round of disc golf...When I started playing, the first hole felt unfamiliar and was straight ahead instead of to the right a bit...after playing my round I have established that holes 1, 2, 6, 16, 17 and possibly a few others have been relocated...whats going on?

The holes were moved into the long positions, It was done I think the first week of September. How wet was the course i was thinking of heading over there this afternoon.

sorry it took a while...course wasn't bad as you may already know. all the dried up run-off creeks are flowing now, and the ground is soft so bring a towel...other than that it was in great condition.
so you said they are in their long positions...do they move them back and forth throughout the year?

Just got back from playing. They move them back between the two but the typically stay in position for a while once they are moved.

They only move them like once a year or so and most of the longs are dumb.

So instead of normally being stroke-inducingly difficult, it's only ridiculously difficult for most of the year?

Yeah they arent the best alternate positions.
Number 1 makes it to where if you go for the putt and miss your at the bottom of the hill.
Number 2 just adds addition fade to the shot, so i now throw a pred instead of hyzering a teebird/stalker.
Number 6 has no real path to the long basket just hope it makes it through the trees at the end
Number 16 actually takes away the difficulty because you can now just fade to the pin position instead of having to turn right up the hill.
Number 17 makes it a relatively straight shot where you just ride the treeline on the right to the hole.

Holes 1, 16 and 17 make the hole super easy.
hole 2 adds nothing to the hole. in the shorts, I throw a comet, in the longs I throw a comet a bit higher
Hole 6 isn't a hole when it is in the longs, it is sooo dumb.

you make it sound easy :wall: i just threw a z stalker for the first time today...i liked it, but i have trouble keeping it straight so i fade out too fast on some of the holes...oh well...i may go again tomorrow.

well it looks like the course has been moved back to the 'normal' setting. Only difference is they made 9 easier by moving it to the left. I had seen this on videos but never when I went so it was a nice surprise.
