Camp Sankanac is new news to me - are there more details somewhere?
And I am under the impression that Conrad Weiser is just a temp course set up for an annual tourney.

I heard the goal was to somehow get it set up permanently and the tourney is to prove interest in DG to the powers that be

Opti,
I'd go give it a play ASAP! It's totally worth the drive out rt. 100 from the Lehigh Valley. I'll post a review soon enough I've just been too busy to do so lately.

Camp Sankanac has been in the ground for about 5 years and is open to the public now til memorial day. They close the disc course down on saturdays and during the warmer months because of the various youth activities going on there. First and foremost it is a christian camp for kids. The 3 bucks is not mandatory to play,, just a donation (however be cool and leave 5 bucks). Also after you throw your drive on hole 6 you must walk over a suspension bridge over the creek. Do NOT bounce or jump up and down on the bridge. As for conrad weiser the township was very slow to approve the course being permanent. As of about 2 months ago they had enough money promised to them by local clubs for 9 baskets. I dont know if the money was ever received. For a little bit more info about sankanac and conrad weiser go to this link http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/group.php?groupid=18
and view the threads i started. If you would like to meet and or throw a round with the guy that runs conrad weiser or the guy that designed sankanac let me know .

jerome. the guy that runs the weiser also has his own course on private property he owns. Since you write nice reviews he may want you to check it out and put it on here. He is having a get together at the course this sunday. I cant make it cuz i will be at the hoodoo. His course is in Myerstown.

Remember when you asked Jerome who his partner is for the hoodoo? I don't think he'll be able to make it either
