Going international today!

Steen Park in Aylmer, ON (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4031&cimg=49340)

Hole #3
Par 3

From the tee:

If you look carefully, you can see that the tee sign is a picture of the fairway from the tee...which is like pointing a video camera at a television or looking in a mirror with a mirror. Trippy.

The course map (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course_files/4031/a3e2508c.pdf) isn't much help either as there aren't hole numbers shown.

If you look at the photo, there is something that resembles a basket across the path to the left, but there is also something that could be a basket straight ahead. That said, I think the tee sign actually points to the basket on the left, so I say that's our target until somebody that's played this course says otherwise.

Star Wraith/ESP Surge on a slightly right release, letting the fade bring the disc back across the road and hopefully past the giant guardian tree to start my putting mess.

11-10-2010, 08:53 AM
sparkle vision then a ridge andputt out (hopefully)

11-10-2010, 08:54 AM
DX Eagle, eh

11-10-2010, 09:29 AM
330 ft? S-PD. RHBH Hyzer.

11-10-2010, 09:43 AM
Throwing a River right at it and hoping for a short up at it.

11-10-2010, 09:45 AM
I'm gonna borrow Mashnut's Wizard. But I probably won't get it there....

11-10-2010, 10:33 AM
Going to take my light River, RHBH aimed right at the big tree just left of the path and let it track right.

That or ESP Pred thrown almost right over the small tree to the far right, but not sure I can make it with the Pred.

11-10-2010, 10:41 AM
I like the pred out to the right.

11-10-2010, 10:55 AM

11-10-2010, 10:58 AM
The basket is a little hard to see but it's just to the right of the large tree on the left. There's a large stream maybe 20 ft left of the basket so don't hyzer out too much or you'll lose your disc like I did here :(

11-10-2010, 10:59 AM
Orc out to the right with a good amount of hyzer.

11-10-2010, 11:17 AM
Surge ss buzz then puttr

11-10-2010, 12:05 PM
Star Beast right up the middle, then Soft Magnet FTW!

11-10-2010, 12:07 PM
Teebird up the gut, 2nd the soft magnet

11-10-2010, 12:37 PM
Buzzz up the gut between the trees if I am feeling nasty. Z Pred (ESP if it plays longer than it looks) around the trees BH Hyzer if I am playing for my score.

Noill Golf
11-10-2010, 12:44 PM
Heavy GL River right up the path and starting to break left at the first bend in the path

11-10-2010, 12:48 PM
168 pro wraith, clean it up with my star aviar. Next hole.
Team Bert

11-10-2010, 12:51 PM
I like the pred out to the right.

I like the XCal out to the right.

11-10-2010, 12:52 PM
Looks like that "out to the right" path will get more difficult as years go by when that tree grows up., but then I think it would be fun to send a low one and try to shoot the gaps those baby trees are about to create.

11-10-2010, 01:01 PM
DX Eagle-X, or maybe a SEX, depending on the wind, and I agree that course map is almost worthless.

11-10-2010, 01:12 PM
worn star teebird up the gut

DX Eagle-X, or maybe a SEX, depending on the wind, and I agree that course map is almost worthless.

lol...SEX.... i like that.

since im not really sure where that basket is, it would either be my stable OLF (left of center tree) or my beat up star teerex (right of center tree).

11-10-2010, 03:18 PM
I'm throwing my dx teebird aiming right at the right big tree so I know I won't hit it. Then Wizard

11-10-2010, 04:19 PM
Star wraith with a ion putt for 2

Sean Johnson
11-10-2010, 04:31 PM
I'd probably Hyzer my most overstable Surge out over the trees.

11-10-2010, 05:08 PM
I like the pred out to the right.

This sounds pretty good for me

11-10-2010, 05:31 PM
RHBH star SL I think I don't really know where the basket is.

11-10-2010, 06:09 PM
straight at it with a champ viking

11-10-2010, 06:13 PM

11-10-2010, 08:10 PM
RHFH ESP Surge off to the R a little and let it turn towards the gap.

11-10-2010, 08:22 PM
champion Beast

11-10-2010, 08:30 PM
Roc or gazelle straight at it or S-PD on a big hyzer line.

11-10-2010, 08:33 PM
Champ Wraith, up the right gap

11-10-2010, 09:57 PM
Champion Beast

11-11-2010, 12:20 AM
worn star teebird up the gut

I like this idea too. I might not throw it quite the full 330', but it will be in the right direction.

My other option would be to throw a Valkyrie at it on a low line and hope I get just enough S to miss the tree on the left but not enough to get swatted down by the little tree on the right.

There's also the "throw a Boss around to the right and watch-it-skip past the basket and into the creek" option, but I'm probably not going to take that one.

11-11-2010, 12:49 AM
Hyzer a XL looking for it to fade in under the "guardian tree"

11-11-2010, 01:00 AM
Im throwing a TeeRex-X low and to the right looking for a nice skip towards the basket at the end.

11-11-2010, 03:13 AM
Star Beast right up the middle, then Soft Magnet FTW!

Me too, except I'd use a Wizard :D

11-11-2010, 03:43 AM
Ace race 2010 between the guardian tree and the smaller tr4ee to its right. Approach and putt with the medium ion.

11-11-2010, 11:45 AM
StaR TL right through that gap with a little fade off to the left. RHBH.
