Ok, so I can throw hyzer/anhyzer pretty well, or atleast I though! I was watching this pdga video and saw a crazy anhyzer throw. Watch the throw at 3:50-

I know its on a steep hill so that helps alot, but how the heck do you throw an anhyzer or hyzer that good? That disc was flat for so long before it started anhyzering. Whats the secret? grip?

The disc is 'beat in' just right
I've seen my (pro) buddies throw out a long, straight shot. At about 2/3 flight the disc will bank right & head off (anny) for even more distance. It's amazing to watch.

The shot itself was pretty flat in all honesty with just a lot of high speed furn. Remember that Hyzer and Anhyzer are the angle at which you release the disc, not necessarily how the disc flies.

I'm a little confused by your description of the shot. It looked like a normal 'S' shot to me.
Controlling when you get turn isn't that difficult if you can control the OAT you put on a disc. The only thing special about the disc is that it's a lot easier to do with beat versions of predictable molds in low end plastic. A DX Gazelle, D Cyclone, DX Eagle-X are three of the easiest discs to shape lines with.
Pretty sure that was an S shot. Still sick though.

Was an S Shot with a nice fade at the end. Just take a overstable disc and give it an anhyer throw, will create a nice S shaped flight and flex back to fade at the end.
That throw started out with hyzer... didn't seem like he threw it very hard... as was stated... just a beat in stable mable, and he let the disc and the elevation do the work for him. Beautiful shot.
