I think you guys should meet at Water Works in KC and then whomever wins there gets to slowly pull the losing team to another course of their choice up to 350 miles in their direction. When one team has beaten the other within 100 miles of their respective coastline, the tournament is over, and winners buy the losers a round before they send them back across the country with their tails between their legs.

I just laughed in an actual out-loud manner (as opposed to "LOL" as the kids like to say). Now I look like a crazy guy in a cube.

im down for this.... but the losers have to pull together and pay the winners bills for the undefined amount of time this is going to take.... and the winners have to buy the airfair home for everyone.....huh i wonder who would really lose more in that?

Have it down in the DFW area. It's in the middle (for the most part), it's south and warm, and there's some sweet courses down there. Both coasts gather in this area. 4 days of different courses for all involved. A 5th day for a final round with the 92 best players from both coasts duking it out. The winning player represents the coast winning the tournament.

NO WAY!!! I have a severe dislike for Texas. Every time I'm traveling through Texas 2 things allways happen. 1. The police allways F with me, even if I'm doing nothing wrong. And 2. Something allways goes majorly wrong with the car, an axel breaks, the trany goes out, etc... and I end up stuck in some po-dunk town with nothing to do while my car gets fixed. I have made it my mission to never go to Texas again. No disrespect to people from Texas, it's just the way I feel.

If you want to start in a place with about the same number of courses east of and west of you, then Highbridge, WI or the Quad Cities (IA/IL) would be smack in the middle.

Maybe we can talk Tim into developing a tool for DGCR find the course closest to the mid-point between users? Sure, that would be a reasonable feature request ;)

I vote for the quad cities, or Ottumwa, Iowa.
