I found a company that makes all sorts of glow pigments. They have a coated, waterproof product that can be added to concrete to make it glow.

I immediately thought about disc golf tee boxes.
I think glow tees would be a really nice way to augment a course.

The brightest glow would be the standard green color, but they also have a cool blue glow that would work for tees as well.

I'm gonna have to remember this. There's talk of putting in another course less than 15 min from me, and this is gonna be on the top of my list of things that should be done :)

Ok everybody...lights on the tee to charge it.

Thier brightest stuff is supposed to glow for more than 12 hours with just sunlight, so I doubt you would need to charge it with flashlights.

It would be expensive to do the whole tee surface with this stuff, but maybe just a really intense 6" border of glow around the outside edge.

You could probably do the tee numbers one through eighteen in glow powder in the concrete, that would make it easier for noob glow golfers to find thier way.
This, and either glow or solar powered basket lighting, and you have a sustainable, "green" glow golf course.

Damn 12 hrs!!! Must be expensive! Sounds interesting though.

I will definitely be looking into this when it comes time to pour our new pads at the course I'm working on.

I really like this idea. Just wondering what the glow duration would be on a wooded course where the tees are shaded most of the day.

I'd also wonder if this stuff would make the tee pads slippery.
