Is there anything else that would work to dye a disc??? Maybe food coloring???

Check the link in the J-Dye thread. They use ink.

A guy might try analine dyes. Water soluble crystals available in woodworking/tool stores. Lots of different colors. They are used for staining wood. Intense colors. Potentially ruin your kitchen floor or countertop.

These guys have a bunch of different dyes, and chemicals. Have been dealing with them for almost 20 years. They have lots of different stuff to play around with. Worth checking out.
