Picked up a 12x KC Star Wraith this weekend as part of my winnings, and that thing is flat as a fritter - are they all that way, or is it just this one?
I haven't had a chance to throw it yet - will this make it more overstable, or less?
It is a pretty orange/yellow swirl - almost too purdy to throw!

All of the 12x Star ones I've seen were flat as the dickens. I haven't thrown one, though.
there are definitely domey and non domey 12X's out there...
the flat ones I've thrown are really overstable. I'm a big fan of the domey ones because they seem to glide better, and have a slight turn.

I have had 2 super flat ones only...they both were too beefy for me. Wasn't aware there were any domey ones...now I wanna try one. :D

The latest run of them is flat for sure like a pancake, but besides this run the rest have had some dome to them and have been some nice discs.

hmmm...sounds like I won't care too much for this. I like the Wraith because it has a nice glide, and doesn't hook at the end. We'll see.

the new runs seem to be flatter then the older ones.

Crazy overstable. Mine is mislabeled as a speed 12 disc as well.

there was a thread about that awhile ago. I still can't believe that happened/made it out of the factory. Almost as bad as the 'PDGA appoved' on CE QMS's

My star wraith has a little bit of a dome to it, definitely have seen flatter ones. How flat/domey are the echo stars? That is most likely going to be my next wraith purchase.

My 12x Wraith is Super domey...I like the flat ones better. Had a flat one I really liked and I lost it. Haven't thrown any since.

All the Echo Star Wraiths I've seen/thrown have had a slight dome to them. I don't find them nearly as overstable as the 12x Wraiths.

my speed 12 one was flatter than sin.
Overstable like a mother compared to my buddies older star which had a moderate dome that I liked tossing. His doesnt have the 12x stamp either.

best Wraiths Ive thrown are the Special Blends. Mine has a very slight dome. When I throw it flat it has a slight turn with a gentle, predictable fade - insane glide...

I have two, 175 and 172, both pancakes, both very stable. The older of the two is finally beat in to the point where it has some glide.

This has been my experience as well.
