-Should we get t-shirts printed? Not a bad idea, I know someone who has a T-shirt printing company, we can get them cheap!
-How should the food situation be handled?I always bring enough food for myself and extra to share, if we all do this we can have some awesome meals
-Do people have extra camping supplies they can bring for those that don't?Go to Walmart and buy some camping gear or sleep in your car.
-Who will be camping where? Zenbot and I have site 27 reserved.
-Should there be any kind of donation to cover any possible expenses?I think that's can be handled on the spot.
-Should we get some discs dyed to serve as prizes for possible competitions?I have no clue.
-Carpool/travel situation?Driving alone cause my car isn't big enough to carry more than me and my camping gear.
-Should there be an ace pool? You mean charity?!?!
-Will Apothecary rock the thong?Ohhh, yes he will!!!

Another option for tshirts is to have a logo made then post it to Cafepress, that way peeps can get the size, color, style of shirt they want, or other things like mugs, hats, stickers, thong ect. Just a thought.

First, I just want to send a big shout out to DonnieSharko, Mentally_Understable and JMoney for reserving a site! With these three plus mine, we have four all right together! Very cool guys! :hfive:

As far as other sites, there are plenty left in G. I was just pushing for 23-28 so that we would all be right next to each other.
Here's a map of G that will show everyone where we'll be and what else is close to what we have:

http://www.casitaswater.org/camping/grebe/grebe_cs/grebe_cg.gif

As far as who will camp where, we'll have to work that out. With four sites reserved, that theoretically gives us room for 24 campers. I'm pretty sure that putting six heads on each site will be a little cramped though. So, if anyone wants to get another site in G to accommodate extra bodies that would be awesome! My buddy Brand aka Row Jimmy (who some of you know) might be coming down from the Napa area. If he makes it, he'll definitely be camping on my spot. But as usual, I'm down for whatever and whomever.

I'm still looking for suggestions/ideas on the food situation. Should everyone just bring their own or should I start some kind of fund and do some group shopping before we arrive? Booze will be BYOB, as will any medicinal flowers. :)

Tom, if you're interested in getting your own site, try to get one close to us so you don't have too far to stumble back to your tent! :p

Night golf... I have no idea about if lights and light towers are cool. Maybe Zenbot can chime in and give us some insight on that issue.

Music... if anyone has a sound system they can bring that would be awesome. I have no info on noise levels, etc so maybe Zenbot can give us the lowdown on that too.

T-shirts... should I look into this? I think it would be really cool to have some shirts printed to commemorate this historic event! Still looking for someone who could do some art for us.

Disc golf agenda... should we do some kind of friendly/casual competition? Doubles? We don't necessarily have to plan this out but if peeps are interested in some sort of tourney it might be smart to get details worked out, like prizes, etc. Maybe Apoth can work some kind of deal with DTW and get us some cheap or even better free plastic we could use as prizes. Also, should we start an ace pool?

Like Zenbot said, this is gonna be INSANE!

If anyone has anything they can volunteer please step up and let me know. The more little details we can get worked out, the better this event is going to be. And the sooner the better.

As details are ironed out I'll be posting all needed information. I'll try to see if a mod can give me the ability to edit the original post in the thread so everyone doesn't have to read through pages and pages just to find the necessary information.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone who has already reserved a site! And a big thanks in advance to anyone who can help getting the little details worked out. If everyone works together, we can make this meet truly epic!

I think light towers might bring unwanted interest from the rangers and would ruin your night vision.

There is quiet time in the campgrounds but seeing as how there are no campers near the course we can set up a secondary base near 7's tee pad. We can be pretty loud there.

Yeah, light towers might be a bit too much. Plus combining darkness + gasoline + booze + rangers might get us into some kind of trouble.

I tried reserving a spot today at work, and by the time somebody picked up the phone a damn customer would walk in. Going to try again tomorrow on break.:wall:

Did you see the map I posted? Try to get something close to sites 25-28. Some place like 29-31. It would be totally radical if you and Ventura Tom could get two right next to each other!
Whatever you end up getting let us know so we can get others to try and get spots near you! And thanks for reserving a spot! :hfive:
Looking forward to meeting and playing some golf with you!

I'll probably go and buy a sound system this weekend. So everyone can bring their Ipods, or just deal with my musical taste.

As for the food situation, I think everyone should bring their own, and if they can afford a little extra to share, that would be great. I will bring extra food.

If we can find someone to design the shirts, I can get them made pretty cheap.

.55 of a mile but you can't drive to that spot.

You only have to park in the camping site spots. There's no limit to campers per site. We may want to turn one of the campsites into the super hang out area and set up all the tents on other spots. No need for 8 different campfires.

I've been thinking about this one tourney hole we played... It was a slight right hand dogleg down a thin ravine with a road at the end, about 285 feet total and all downhill. I yanked a Boss FH and overshot it by 80 feet, over the road, into another ravine.

Great Hole.
That sounds like the Old Man Course. Was it on the loop off regular 15?

Can't remember... I remember all the regular holes after playing 6+ rounds there but I don't remember hole for hole the extra ones we played. That was one of the memorable ones though.

While I think the art is absolutely hilarious, I don't think it's the best choice for the t-shirt. We should definitely use if somewhere somehow but for the t-shirt we need something a little more classic.

Very serious. I will be reserving a site this week in fact. We are just settling on the details then we will be reserving everything for the trip. We are, of course, road tripping and just have to settle on all of our stops and what not.

I'm pretty sure we will be staying a couple extra days in the LA area as well, we usually stay at the Four Points Hotel in Culver City and would be down to play some course around LA as well if anyone is interested.
