Have you ever seen a disc dyed to resemble something that's already circular, such as a vinyl record, or a coin, or a wheel of any sort? Someone with way too much time on their hands could even attempt to dye an escher drawing or the mayan calendar on a disc.

I'd love to see the Escher of him holding the mirrored sphere on a disc. That would be wicked awesome.

My favorite dyes I've ever seen are the optical illusions, making a disc look like a sphere or a black hole or in some other way distorting space with patterns. I think that is a great use of the disc as a canvas. I, personally, find it kind of silly to put superheroes and whatnot on discs -- many of those ideas aren't designed for a disc canvas so they feel stuck on and out-of-place.

This isn't true of all character dyes -- but often the idea doesn't fit the shape and purpose of a disc. I agree -- I think the canvas should ALWAYS be considered vital to what is put on the disc, and try to make the best use of what is there.

I'm stuck on the Huklab logo currently. I love the way it looks when it flys. Also it looks like an old viking weapon. Very cool. I am going to start dying some discs in the future. I've been removing the hot stamp logos from a few discs & hand drawing the huklab logo on there for now.

I'm going to do a wheel on a white star roadrunner soon. More specifically it's going to be from a picture of the 20's that my Colorado rides on in good weather & not on Michigan roads. Probably will include drilled/slotted rotors & painted caliper (even though my rotors are just slotted & calipers aren't painted)

You can put the "Happy Days" logo so when you throw it it will spin like in the opening credits.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever said. Why am I going to hit the post button?

I would like to see The Vitruvian Man (leonardo da vinci's) ontop of a disc

I did the Firefox logo for my first multicolor, but I left it too long in the blue, and the blue looks just like the black.
