What do you carry most of in your bag?

My bag just shifted to Discraft for the first time ever. I now carry 9 discs that are Discraft and 8 that are Innova. My putters and most of my mids are discraft...except for the rhyno. Most of my drivers are innova still though...except for the predator and the flick. I don't carry any other manufacturer in my bag.

2 Discraft
1 Innova
1 Millenium (which I'd group in with Innova)

So..a tie between Discraft and Innova for me. Equal opportunity!

innova. this is probably beacuse they were the first company and everyone knows them, and also evidenced by how hard it is to find two disc from the same run.

At this point it is all Innova. I am looking for it to change when I get some money but I think Innova will always be tops as I am a fan of innovation when it comes to drivers. I think I may switch to Discraft for putting though.

All Innova, the only type of disc I have ever carried in my bag as well as thrown. Maybe I should give some of the other a try...

I'm more of a discraft guy, I have about three innova drivers but everything else I have is discraft, except my juju putter that's ching. I just like the feels of the elite plastics over the champion plastic and I'm not a big fan of star plastic at all. I really could go either way though, it's more of what works for me not the name of who makes it.

Innova all the way! But, I'm from So-Cal... so I'm Innova biased.

I started with a few of each, but over time, I have grown to like Innova discs the best. I like the selection that they offer, their rating system makes perfect sense (and for me, the discs behave very close to the listed rating), and I like the look and feel of the discs/plastics that they offer.

About 2wks ago, I replaced the last Discraft disc that was still hanging on, an Elite-X breeze. Thanks to DGCR and the Marketplace, I was able to locate a couple of new Champ Cobras which have turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. (special thanks to jgentry, and Trace State Park!...;))

I don't have anything against Discraft, I have used several of them, and some I really liked (Avenger, AvengerSS, Drone, Breeze, Buzz), but I prefer Innova, and I think it is helpful (for me) to stick with the same manufacturer. This way I can learn the discs and how they behave, and when I need a replacement, or a new disc, I can pretty much know what to expect. I haven't been disappointed!

I mainly Innova discs because I like their rating system, I am starting to carry more discraft discs but they will never surpass the amount of Innova Discs in my bag. Approx. 10 Innova, 2 Discraft, 1 Millenium.

I have 3 Innovas and 1 discraft now. This is completely because of price. I can get DX innovas at wal-mart for the cheapest price in town. It's kind of a lotery to see what they have but I'm just beginning and I don't really need to spend a bunch on discs till I'm more comfortable and can evaluate them better. I'm also slightly leary of buying discs online, I'ld like to hold them and get a slight feel for them before I purchase one. On that note I finally found a discraft dealer in town and added an elite z surge ss to my bag. I really like it so I going to have to check out more discrafts in the future.

That is awesome that Wal-Mart is selling discs. They aren't selling them here in DFW as far as I know. I usually check when I'm there just to see if they have gotten there yet. Academy and Sports Authority are the only mainstream stores that carry discs around here that I know of.

I carry mostly discraft, for a lot of reasons. mostly, I have had better success with Discraft discs. I like the feel of ESP plastic. I also carry Innova, Millenium, Lightning and Gateway.

innova. this is probably beacuse they were the first company and everyone knows them, and also evidenced by how hard it is to find two disc from the same run.Discraft is an older company than Innova. They started making discs in '79, Innova didn't show up until '83. Innova did make the first beveled-edge golf disc and held the patent, but within a year of that both Discraft and Lightning had beveled-edge discs on the market.

Millenium is Innova

Yes, but no. I believe Innova owns and manufactures Millennium, but it is still a separate line of discs...at least that is how I see it!

Chevy is GM. Old Navy is The Gap. ESPN is ABC. Yet they are all commonly viewed as separate.

I can get DX innovas at wal-mart for the cheapest price in town. It's kind of a lotery to see what they have.

My Wal-Mart carries DX and Pro discs for minimum retail price.

I tried many different discs over the years. I migrated to Innova eventually... completely.

Why? Not only because I prefer their discs... but also I had the opportunity to briefly meet and speak to many company reps for the disc companies over the years. My personal impression is Innova employs and sponsors some pretty darn special folks and have a corporate mission statement / attitude that I respect.

That is mostly why I am loyal to Innova... the cool folks they employ not to mention the badass products they produce.

When I volunteered to staff at a Pro Worlds I stayed in the same camp out house for a week with a couple of the Innova sponsored players and all I can say is Innova has something really special going on.

Merely an opinion I have obtained thru experiences. Innova Rocs. Pun intended.

in the bag:
3 ching discs
2 discraft discs
5 innova discs

i have a lot of discs in the trunk. they are either extras for when i loose a disc or discs i purchased and don't really care for. there are a few discraft in there but most are innova.

my first discs were ching discs and i really liked them. when i started expanding my bag i just kind of purchased whatever sounded good. the main reason i have so many innova is because that's all the stores here carry. and i have to purchase probably 3 or so diff discs before i find one that i really like.

Wow, I think based on this I'm going to invest in Innova. But competition is good, and maybe when the elite-z buzzz takes over the midrange market Innova will make Rocs normally available in champion and star. There should be a forum debating these two discs.... (sarcasm)

My bag is mostly Innova, like other folks mostly just based on availability. Plus, when you start with Innova discs it is easier to predict how other Innova discs will behave, and their ratings system is just so much better. Plus I hate ESP plastic- maybe it was just the discs I got but they were not grippy and got beat up easy- the worst of both worlds. Not worth the money.

I do LOVE my z buzzz and my soft banger gt. I played a round once with just a buzzz, flick and banger- I didn't realize I was playing an all Discraft round until halfway through. I shot a little better than average though.

In my current bag:
Innova 19
Discraft 2
Millenium 2
DGA 2

I feel the same as quoted by "innova", in that I met several reps and players for them. <Their east coast ops are located in Rock Hill SC> Almost all the tournaments in this area are sponsored by them, so of course the Am payouts are Innova. I do however like the others that I carry in my bag. First off my Blowflies <dga> these are my "can't live without" discs. My 2 discraft are the Flick, and the Crush. Both are strictly forehand discs, and I like them because they are stable, but predictable. I KNOW where they are going to go when I release them on my line that I throw. The 2 millenium, 1 is the omega ss, which is my "go-to" putter in the wind. Or if I need a touch hyzer shot when I putt I use this in place of my blowfly. My other is the Orion Sirius LF. It is similar to Innova's star plastic. This disc is so suited for my throwing style. It is "flippy" if you throw it with anhyzer off the teepad, but it is stable at the end of it's flight. So it's perfect to use for those "s-turn" holes.

You throw what ever helps you get the lowest score other than using plastic marked tupperware.

Seriously, the buzz is an awesome mid range disc... I, for one, am not going to slam the other disc companies just because I prefer Innova when the discraft product you mention is obviously a good un.

I am all Innova. It is what I started out with so I have brand loyalty and I know their product line very well. In addition, they are very supportive of So Cal disc golf so I like to return the favor. I give away any non-Innova discs I find or get in a player's pack at tournaments.

However, I also carry Discraft, Discwing, Latitude 64, Gateway, and Quest.

Same here. I just invested in a Champion Groove, hoping to add some distance to my drives from the Valkyrie. I always wonder how the other brands play, but I just trust Innova discs so much that I never can force myself to buy another brand. Sometimes when I can see and feel a disc in person, I've noticed that other brands feel somewhat cheap. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just like the feel of the Champion and DX plastics
