Design your own basket and bring it out to Coyote Point (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=83) for a FUNdraiser Ace Race round. All participants in the Ace Race get 1 vote towards the "Best Basket" award.

PDGA basket specifications do not apply however there are only two or three or four rules:

1. Must be able to catch a disc without damage to the disc. That means no barbed wire. I already thought of that.
2. Any repairs needed during the rounds will result in -1 to the total vote count of that basket.
3. You do not talk about Fight Club.
4. You DO NOT talk about Fight Club.

$10 entry with basket. $20 entry without basket.

Prizes go to Best Basket and winner of Ace Race. Ventura Disc Golf (http://venturadiscgolf.com/) gets a little cut for the Coyote Classic. =)

That looks like one of those old tire baskets from May Dennis Park in Pratt, KS. In fact, after seeing the file name, I can confirm that. Thank God they took those out a couple of years ago and put in Mach V's.

Kind of strange, I was just about to head there with my camera to take pictures for that course's page.

I just did a google image search to get some pics for inspiration.

It should be an interesting day. Where does one purchase wagon wheels in this day and age?

Haha, you might actually be able to get some at an Amish woodworking place. We have one around here. :p

Where do I mail the basket and what's my prize? Thanks for the publicity, too bad you all aren't closer.

Back in the old days the Wagon was the main form of transportation across the west for the settlers.

They headed out in those wagons across the plains, and when your wagon broke down, if you were too lazy or dumb to fix it , that's where you stayed.

That's why if you leave the city, and travel out to the country, and you see a real nice house on nice spread, if you look out by the street to the entrance of the property, there are two broken wagon wheels.

Do you think people headed out for Tulsa?

I thought you were providing an accurate historical anecdote.

What gives?

Well, the first part was historic, the last half was a joke.
