So here is the deal:

I am flying to Reagan International in Arlington, VA on the 20th of April.

I will be picking up my rental truck in Fairfax, VA that morning then going to play Bluemont Park DGC first by 12:00 noon at the latest.

After Bluemont Park, I will be driving to Amissville, VA to load up my worldly possesions from my storage unit. Followed by driving to Maurertown, VA.

I will be spending a few days with a friend and his family there while playing a few local courses in the area on the 21st and 22nd. Probably Maurertown, Stephens City, Winchester and Paw Paw if all goes well.

On the 23rd I will be heading west with a destination of Bloomington, IL. I want to stop somewhere along the way to play a challenging 18 hole course to stretch my legs and make the most of my travels.

On the 24th I will be leaving Bloomington, IL and heading back towards Brainerd, MN.

Below is a link to my travel map for the 23rd and 24th. If you live along the way and want to play a round with me @ any location in my travel plans, post up here and I hope to see/play some disc with you!

Hit me up at North Valley Park if you are heading through there on the 25th. I'll be working the pro shop but if you are in that area earlier that day or around lunch, I'm sure we could work something out.

If youre taking the northern route through WV you may want to stop by Seth Burton Memorial.. I've had a couple of friends that really liked that course, Ive never played it so I dont have much input but its supposed to be pretty good.

If you are considering a detour into Maryland, let me know. I would be happy to guide you around Seneca Creek or one of the Frederick area courses.

Sorry I've been not here to respond to your helpful info. It looks like I will be going the back way by avoiding tolls. I wish I could say I would be able to go any of the places suggested but besides seth burton memorial.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

Prerube, to bad your out of town, it would be fun to meet the one the only.

If you decide to stop in Columbus, keep in mind that Brent Hambrick (An NT course) has holes 10 through 14 pulled to reseed and what not, so you would be better of hitting up one of the other area courses.

Pickerington is a very nice course, nice tee pads, new baskets, so far its been getting good reviews, and best of all minutes from I-70. Then there is The Player's Course at Alum Creek, one of the courses in the AM Worlds last year, and probably my area favorite. Just north of Columbus (30 - 40 minutes) is Gordon Holton (AKA Delaware) is another nice course that was part of the AM Worlds. Any and all three of them are well worth stopping at playing.
