I'm a mainly rhbh thrower but i throw forehand on a alot of the shots that fade to the right. But where my backhand is very good my forehand lacks a lot and a lot of the time will cost me a stroke or two. So i'm curious as to what discs i should try that if i throw them rhbh they could fade to the right so i can try and rid myself of my awful forehand shots. Any suggestions?

I have a sidewinder and it will fade right but always seems to get stable at the end.

throw it at a tree a few times beat it in and it should fly a little better.

Sidewinder, Roadrunner, and vision are about as understable as you are going to get unless you go with ultralights.

I was going to ask what plastic and weight is your sidewinder?

I love throwing my River for these shots. It can hold the line with enough power or take a big anny and come out of it at the very end. I also find that it doesn't turn and burn as much as the Vision, Roadrunner, Monarch, Xpress, and Avenger SS. Also if you feel like you need to work on your form to get the big D try a Fuse, Stingray, or Comet to get the feel for the line before you try for big distance.

I've been putting my buzzz on a lot of anny shots and its been working pretty well, which is why i realized maybe if i got rid of forehand and started to put drives on an anheiser.

ok I throw a 170 champ and it works good for me. I have throwen a star at a 150g and it was alot more flippy. Try a different plastic and or a lower weight. Or just beat your champ to hell.

I might give that a try. I just got my SE Leopard back from a local at my course today, i lost it a year ago and he gave it to me and first time i threw it, it faded right so im gonna give that a shot too, maybe pick up a vision as well

Then you would like the River or maybe a Stalker. They both hold anny lines well, I liked the River better b/c the glide turns it into a distance anny disc instead of having to fight a higher speed disc. I have used a Havoc for long annys but the River is definately more controllable.

Is there a disc that will go straight and fade right at the very end (RHBH), or will every understable disc just start turning over in the beginning of the flight? Is the late turn only possible with a hyzer flip?

I use a fuse and a river for this shot depending on distance. I used to use a beat up roc with very good success but replaced it with the fuse and have been very happy so far.

Or, you could just continue to work on your forehand.

Check your nose angle during your annies. Also the leopard is going to be great, but take a couple of putters out and try to work out your form.

Turnover game points:

-make sure you follow through on your shot. The quickest way to have turnovers/anny's come out early is to not follow through. Don't get scared and short-arm it.

-Nose angle is crucial, once you master that you can manipulate the hell out of when and how hard that disc turns over.

Good discs: Star/Pro Leopard, Star Roadrunner, Goldline Vision, AvengerSS (non-Z)

I throw my 150 Champ Valks for most of my anhyzer shots and they work great. If I really crank on 'em, they have a pretty hard right turn on straight throws. My 150 Elite-X Surge did the same thing, but even a little worse -- especially once it got beat in.

some discraft options are: meteor, glide, xpress, avenger ss
listed in order of slowest to fastest, depending on the distance of the shots you're trying to achieve.

Also, never just give up on forehand, there WILL be times when you need it and can't throw backhand.
Like getting out of trouble for example, or times when theres not enough height to throw a back hand anhyzer.

I was gonna say, I've been crushing my River FH lately.

Ive been working on it for about two years and it improves slight;y but nowhere near as much as my backhand has, so i figured id try and eliminate forehand shots from the majority of my game.

what you're talking about is finding an understable disc so you can throw shots that go right and stay right without resorting to forehand. sidewinder, roadrunner, xpress, leopard, and glide (fastest to slowest) are great drivers for this purpose.

This has been said to death, but Leopard and Sidewinder are great, as well as Roadrunner. I wouldn't give up on the FH, though. Anny lines are great for slow turning shots, but sometimes you need that sharp right fade at the end of a RHFH or LHBH. There's just no good substitute for this shot.
