I'm relatively new to the sport of Disc Golf, I've only been playing for about 7 months now. I have the advantage of living in Bowling Green where there are several good courses in the area available to play on. I've been down to the course at Franklin and played also.

I'm just wondering how the courses in BG compare to other courses that you guys who have played in BG and elsewhere have been to.

Are they as difficult, easier, well designed?

Thanks,

JG

After seeing no responses here, I reread my post and it doesn't make much sense I guess.

What I was trying to accomplish was getting a comparison of diffuculty/layout, for the Bowling Green courses versus other courses you guys have played. This would of course only include those of you who have played in BG and also played elsewhere in the country. I've heard people call the BG courses "old style," and I was just trying to see what others thought.

Judging purely from the fact that BG hosts a National Tour event, I would say that whichever course(s) hosted is/are World class. I have played three other courses that have hosted NT events; Toronto Island, DeLaveaga and Warwick, and these are easily three of the best, most challenging courses I have ever played (out of over 40+ total).

personally i think the courses in bowling green are average at best, however, bowling green absolutely excels in player turnout. one of the best player bases in the country. big ups to bowling green.
