The Groove features an innovative groove on the underside of the rim. This channel allows this speed 13 driver to be molded in lighter weights. If the Boss proved to be too much disc for you, get into the Groove with its super fast long and straight flights.

I've got a few CFR DX San Marino Rocs from the 2008 Seneca Creek Soiree if anyone is interested. There's maybe a 1/2 dozen of them and most are heavier weights 175+. Only 50 made.

The latest putt and approach model from Innova is called the Dart. It is similar to the Aviar P & A, except that it has less fade and a little more range. The preliminary numbers are speed=3, glide=4, turn=0 (HSS) och fade=0 (LSS). It is made with a new R-Pro material where R basically stands for Rubber. This material is most similar to JK Pro and Pro Rhyno and it stays very grippy and flexible in cold or wet weather.

I would be pretty stoked if the Dart is actually happening. I was hoping that they would make a rubber putter. I still like my aviar though and will have to figure out what makes sense once it all happens. I was actually thinking of going with Discraft putters but I may wait now.

I love Omega SuperSofts, JK's, and Aviars, so I am very intrigued!

I get my info from the Disc Golf Sweden site. They seem to always have new disc info first. I haven't figured out the connection yet, or where they get their info from, but they haven't been wrong yet. I also recieve monthly product releases from Innova and Discraft. You can also watch the Approved disc list on the PDGA site.

Got a Dart in the mail the other day - it hasn't been released yet - mine was part of the pre release Innova Team evaluation effort. Due to be released in March I believe. The disc is very grippy and flexible. It's profile looks like a lower profile version of the Aero.

I went out and threw it at lunch today - nice straight flyer - not much fade, haven't tried it as a putter yet (it started raining). Didn't seem to like the wind much - but it did seem to hold pretty much whatever line you put on it (much like the Aero - go figure). Not sure where it fits in the overall "need a disc that does that" niche, but it's a nice throw and catch disc (being so soft) and I'd love to see other discs in that plastic.

They are churning them out at record pace. My rep was telling me they are using a new Star blend that allows them to run the Boss in lighter weights. He called it Star Light/Lite plastic.
