It wasn't of the best design; it was more or less just a pain in the ass place to play, but man......pretty sad sight out there right now.

Message today from the course designer:
"I got a call from Mark Roberts today, telling me that Kimball Pines was destroyed this weekend. They are going to pull all the baskets that they can get to and are not destroyed from fallen trees. According to him, if it goes back in, it will be like Begg Park. We just lost an awesome course. I'll check it out tomorrow.

Whats crazy is that whole course, every single hole, is in the woods. Hopefully they can recover what baskets were left and just do a redesign.

From the Disc Golf Michigan FB page:
We just got news that strong storms have destroyed Kimball Pines DGC in Battle Creek. Sadly, we have lost one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Michigan. R.I.P. Kimball Pines, you will be missed :(

Oh man, that sucks.
I'm glad that wasn't on our recent MI roadtrip itinerary. We were near Battle Creek yesterday on the way home. :\

I hate to hear about course getting pulled or destroyed but I won't miss "Pinball Pines", I played it once
and vowed never to return. Simply, too many tight narrow fair(?)ways.

Sounds like the course kind of sucked, maybe with less tree's you'll be able to throw full sized discs.

Larry LaBond posted Kimball photos to his FB..
Kimball has been terminated. terminated, with extreme prejudice.

I don't know if its coming back, but this course still appears as active on here, although there is a note in the conditions about the incident which destroyed it.
