I'll bee hanging out at a music fest this weekend near Albert Lea MN and I'm thinking I may head to a few of the courses near by where I'm at this Saturday the 16th. so if there's any of you that don't live to far away from there hit me up!

There are some nice courses in southern Minnesota and just cross the border in northern Iowa, but I am at a loss to actually talk them up because I have as of yet played any of them. I am going to be changing that this August on our League's annual road trip to Des Moines (making a stop at several southern MN courses).

Too bad you could not come up a little northward in the Twin Cities area. We have a ton of nice courses up here too and a lot of activities, tournaments, leagues, and rec play. Let me know if you ever make it up this way.

As for the 16th itself, it is expected to be 90+ degrees and incredibly humid. Maybe it would be best to find a wooded course so you can hide out in some shade during the day.

the park I'm gonna be camping at has TONS of shade its an old oak tree farm. I'm sure sleeping is gonna suck though with it being that hot out this weekend, I'm gonna miss my AC! lol

I'm gonna be at another music fest called "plunder fest" in MN 2 weekends from this weekend. it was supposed to be at the same place but it got moved to some 1300 acre campground more north some place not sure exactly where though...

Fairmont has a couple pretty good courses. It's just west down 90 from Albert Lea, maybe an hour and a half or less.
