View Full Version : First Dye Turned out better than I expected

After the first 10 minutes, I realized that I didn't put enought dye in so I put some more in and it turned out good. I left it in a little too long, so the disc is a little sticky from the vinyl, but that comes off with acetone.
All in all, I'm happy with the fruits of my labor (about 2-3 hours).

That DX Rhyno doesn't look so bad, I have read that people don't like to use the DX plastic for dying but that's not too shabby on a used disc.

Yeah, I think the only problem is that it isn't as dark as I was hoping. It was supposed to be a dark black but turned out to be kind of faded.
