I broke down and hit my fav Buzzz with some dye. The bad thing is, I don't know if I want to throw it now.
The drops are a sharpie cover.

I second that. Interesting idea, a sun wearing sun glasses...does he blind himself?

This one was a hard disc to find a good pattern to dye. Discraft Slipstream with the groove on the top.

Thanks for the complements everybody. Seems like as soon as I finish one I'm looking for another disc to start. The past few discs I've bought have just been for the color, the \X/ disc Is a Lattude 64. I have never owned or thrown one of them and don't know if this one will ever get up in the air.

Dude, SICK discs there Cowboy! FANTASTIC job with the Dead bears, and the stripes disc looks great and should be easy to find! Reminds me of one of those 10-cent metal bands from the 80s :D
What kinds of discs are these?

The dead bears are incredible. I have much respect for your work. Do you use a plotter to cut your stencils?

Disc Golf Cowboy
07-24-2009, 04:24 PM
The bears is a Lat 64 striker stripes is a cro. Got them both for the color.
No plotter. I just can't seem to give up $1100 to get a good one. If i was doing hundreds of dyes then I would have one going all the time. All of mine are hand cut. I have around 10 hours into the bears disc. The stripes maybe 40 min from start to ready to throw.

Here's a couple more. Save the hate on the Steve one. Wasn't my idea, but I do like it. Think I might add some color to the stingray

Nice dyes as usual for you Cowboy. Love the glow disc. Has a Rat Fink quality to it. The Stingray is pretty funny. Just don't make the tail red (or do :) ).

Nice stuff cowboy! That glowing eye is sick. You do some great multicolor work. I cant wait to see what you do with that tire!

Disc Golf Cowboy
08-15-2009, 11:31 PM
Thanks Dude.
I had to draw the Fly Eye out from a embroidered patch. I really didn't think it would turn out as good as it did. I don't like the text on the cotton candy but it was right off the bag. Love the way the clown turned out. This guy is going on 20 dyes from me. He lost 4 at worlds, He ended up 42 or 44. He gave me a load of 10 on thursday after doubles. 8 done, haven't come up with the designs for the 2 CLEARS yet. Have to have something wild for them.

BennettUA

Cotton Candy came out great, had to be a chore to cut, but I think you did well.
Love to see the glowing disc -- I have 3 glows that I bought for dyeing, haven't nailed a design yet for them, I have some in mind. At night I take them into the bedroom, turn off the lights, and we take turns "drawing" on them with a LED pen light -- it's fun AND reusable!! :D

Sorry guys,
I just couldn't do the star wars thing. If I'm gonna get stuck with a disc I want it to have something I like. Skateboarder is still in the works, Needs more color.
The Escher. I love it.
The stack of new plastic, great colors waitin' for dye.

Nice work again cowboy! That Ecsher Smiley Fishey disc is sick!!! The skater is pretty sweet to. Keep up the good work man!

Disc Golf Cowboy
08-22-2009, 12:20 PM
Thanks Dude,
The Escher did turn out great. A little goof on the outer rim gave way to the saran wrap texture. That was a mind f*** weeding that one. Helped to have a pic sitting there next to me so I could see what stayed and what was to go. Thank for the dye info too. I was just wondering if you had tried it and if it didn't work I wouldn't have to. lol

BennettUA

That Escher dye is SICK!!!! I'm sure it was a test of your weeding prowess - but you have to know that going in if you're gonna do anything Escher! :D

That Escher dye is incredible indeed. Well worth all the time. You never fail to impress.

Looks GREAT! Thanks for showing me. How long did it take?

Disc Golf Cowboy
08-27-2009, 04:00 PM
Ya know, I don't even remember. 4 or 5 hours I'd guess. The result was well worth the time. I've had so many discs to dye, I go to doubles night and have 4 to 10 to dye when I leave.
Here's some more pics.

Another Escher. I didn't choose the colors on this one. I'm going to do another in blue.

Another one done. One soaking for the 5th color will put it up tommorow, I think I'll get it done.
