And I was hoping for some advice. This is what I want to dye:

The problem is I can't figure out the best way to do it. If I do the blue first and then have to do the yellow, what's the best way to line up the second stencil? What I'm thinking is that it would be easiest to just cut it after the vinyl is already on the disc, but I don't really want to risk cutting through to the disc if I can help it.
Can any of you guys help me out here?

granted im certainly no expert and only have a couple of discs to my credit... but ive found that if you dont cut the design out all the way... leave little tabs that hold everything together like those old plastic model car kits... you can transfer the pattern, remove what you need when you need it, and not worry about realigning the plastic... the only problem is unless youre real careful you run a slight risk of not getting a perfectly straight cut when you cut those tabs later

cut out the design then use masking tape. the trick with the tape is to desenseitise it on a t shirt or jeans so it is not to strong. then just remove one section at a time. die darkest to lightest colors tat way the yellow won't effect the blue. I think not done many two color dyes none with blue and yellow.
hope this helps

My concern was that if I do the blue and then the yellow, the yellow would turn the blue green. I'm not sure if that would actually happen, but unless I know it wouldn't I don't want to chance it.
After reading both of your comments, I think I got an idea. If I use the transfer tape to keep the yellow ring stencil intact I could probably re-apply the pieces that I took off over the yellow parts of the disc once I dye it.
Maybe that won't work though.

It came out pretty well, all things considered.
