Longest golfing streak?

Sadly, im on mine right now. Today will be day 4 in a row on course with 3 more days ahead of me before it'll break.

Weather has been tough here this summer.

Just curious what your streak is. With some of the long time players on here I'm betting there are some long ones lol.

I used to tour all the time but my longest streak probably wasn't all that long. I had a standard practice schedule when I got serious about it. I would play practice rounds tuesday thru thursday. Friday off for travel. Tournament rounds on the weekend. Travel home sunday night. Monday off.

I would do putting and short upshot practice (about 120 and in) at lunch time almost every day. The place where I worked let me keep a basket behind the office and I had one at home in the back yard as well.

I tried to go to 3 tournaments a month in the "tournament season". Either locals or bigger out of town events. One weekend off to try to maintain a relationship. It never worked.

All that practice and all I got from it was 3 knee surgeries and a bunch of mediocre open finishes. For the most part.

I would have to guess that the most days I've played in a row was 5 or 6 and it was probably around worlds time. I seem to remember one worlds where there was doubles on a wednesday and then the singles rounds from thursday thru sunday.

I'll be some of the guys have crazy long streaks.

In June of this year, I played at least one round of disc golf every day except for 6/20. If not for an out of town funeral I needed to be at, I would have played on the 20th too.

this is how serious I am about disc golf, I have played every day since feb 26, 2008 to now and still going I play at least 36 holes a day and have for 6 months now and have loved every minute of it!!

I played every day from July 1 - August 3 in preparation for my first Open event...the CedarVille Open. Most days I just did putting and upshot practice (the event was on two mostly short and technical courses), but I also did some field work to practice my distance drives. Otherwise, I just played the regular layout at my home course and made up my own layout to force some shots that the regular layout doesn't have.

Paid off too...cashed in my first Open tourney! I'll be doing the same routine next month in preparation for Louisiana State Championships.
