I went to DGU and downloaded the free golf card and I also have the Gateway throw analysist download also. But printer paper stinks on the course because it gets all chewed up. Then it hit me.
I WORK FOR A PRINTING COMPANY.
I took some 9pt Tab Index paper home and check this out.

Cool thing is during practice I can use the Gateway side and when I'm lazy and just want to log around I can use the "standard" side.

Of course, now that I think about it, the paper stock is not much different that a standard manila file folder ..... okay so I'm not brilliant but my forum post count just went up. :D

Nice. I used to make scorecards, had a file that I would just print out. True though, it does get pretty chewed up just after a day of Disc. To bad I don't have paper like that. I'd imagine you could get something pretty close to that at a Target or a Wal-Mart.

Here's the link to my scorecard file:

http://home.comcast.net/~ejubin/disc_golf/scorecard_compilation.pdf (http://home.comcast.net/%7Eejubin/disc_golf/scorecard_compilation.pdf)

It currently has most of the courses in the Houston area, but there's a generic one in there as well. I'm updating the file as I play more courses and take measurements on them.

If the "Notes:" section of a card mentions that the "distances are confirmed by laser" that means I've taken +/-3ft line-of-sight measurements with a laser range finder; or if it's a blind hole I use a +/-10ft GPS reading.

I print my cards on 110lb card stock that's only available at Sam's Club ($7.40 after tax for the 250 sheets).

Some home printers have issues handling the thicker card stock, but my HP Photosmart C7180 All-in-One does just fine.

Hey Eric that's pretty cool. Nice to see someone helping the community like that. Also that's a pretty good deal on the paper. 7 bucks or so for 250 sheets goes a pretty long way. I'd imagine it lasts pretty long for scorecards too.

Great looking cards guys. I really like the graphics on Eric's cards and very pro looking hole previews on yours PA.

I got this design from a guy in Florida. I take the originals and I I print them out on card stock at Office Depot:
