I found a disc w/ a name and number on the back. Got a hold of the guy, but he didn't want it back. How do I get his info off the back so I can put mine on? I tried soap and water, rubbing alcohol, and fingernail polish remover. Maybe if I had something w/ a higher % of acetone, like paint thinner or something. The marker is faded quite a bit, but you can still read it easily. Was wondering if anyone knew of something that would do the trick. Otherwise, guess I'll just write over top of it.

Magic Erasers are worth a try.

After some searching, I think I found the answer. (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070815155030AAuRYsu) Good enough I suppose.

You want to use Acetone. It is the main ingredient of nail polish remover that does the removing but more concentrated. It will even remove the Innova company logos off of discs if you want to Tie-Die them.

Do not try this on Quest or Gateway standard plastics. It will make the disc peel unless you water it down or remve it quickly.
