I got one of these baskets today and I LOVE it. Its a HUGE step up from my SkillShot. I noticed that it seems like it spits some putts out because of the only outer ring of chains. Does anyone have any good suggestions to make to the basket. I was thinking another set of chains, foam on the center pole, and a way to take it apart without a screwdriver. Pics would be fantastic. The more detail the better. Thank you!

how about instead of improving the basket's catching ability you improve on the placement of your putts. Sometimes baskets that catch in a specific way are the best to practice on because then you don't get used to forgiving baskets. My putting has improved by playing on baskets that are too small or cats only when you hit pole head on.

I've recently gotten a DISCatcher myself. Very nice, I like it a lot. I also thought about some more chains, but what happens when I play a course with cheap baskets that don't catch well. Then I've gotten so used to well-catching baskets that I won't putt as well. I say leave it, and perfect your putt.

That only really works if your basket doesn't have spit-out zones where you would normally place your putt. My practice basket has a tendency to spit putts that hit the pole (too few chains and the ring at the bottom is too big).
In my opinion, it's not worth fixing but I'm also not going to change my putt to account for my wonky basket. You know if a putt is good or bad. Sometimes good ones spit out and sometimes bad ones fall in. When you practice you should focus on throwing good putts. If it sticks or not is really pretty irrelevant.

this plus what everyone else said. don't add any chains. you aren't doing yourself any favors. try putting on a dga m-14 like i have for a few days... that innova basket will seem like a black hole. but most importantly, use the darn thing. way too many people buy baskets and then let them rot in their backyard.
