I took an out of town friend to La Mirada yesterday, and was delighted to find the course set up for the PDGA U.S. Masters 2008 Championship which is happening THIS WEEKEND. They have once again re-pinned La Mirada's two 18-hole courses into one world-beating monster 18 hole tournament course. (We played it yesterday, it's a mother!)
First round play began this morning, with continuing play through Sunday afternoon. Awards scheduled for 3:30 pm on Sunday.
I'm going to get out there, if you're in the area, you should go too!
