I went by Sonny's Deli the other day, bought an Innova hat and a Viking. Also a delicious Italian Assorted sub, which I enjoyed at Ellison Park before and after playing a round of Disc Golf (on the worlds worst tees).

The guy working (I'm guessing if there really is a Sonny, then this was him) told me that the shop was hosting a tournament on Saturday September 19th. He said singles are in the morning, Bring your own partner doubles in the afternoon. Entry to friendly competition is $15.00 and the "pay" tournament is $35.00.

He also told me that your entry fee includes lunch, and that there are a lot of prizes involved.

I am going to be there, playing doubles. My buddy that plays will most likely be my partner, if not my father has said he's willing to play on my side. He's only played 8 holes ever...but we'll have fun! (he tends to throw very accurate, but with less power, so we'll even each other out) (also I took him to try out the Naples 9 hole course and he wasn't going to play, but after the first hole he decided to play with me :) )

If anybody wants to meet up or anything let me know!

Really??

I'm surprised that it wasn't mentioned anywhere in grdgc.com (http://grdgc.com) at all.

Umm...

It looks like I was misinformed when I was originally told about the tournament...Which means I don't think I'll be playing the doubles game. If it's only 35$ for a TEAM then I'll play and get my BUTT KICKED, but I would like to get more experience with people that can tell me how to improve anyway. I'm so new at this any little bit will help!
