View Full Version : Colorado Springs - Looking for Local Guide

Hey everybody.
I am going out to CO on a business trip the last week of September. I checked out the pages for the two courses in Colorado Springs that look like they are close enough to make a quick run to, (the private-HP course, and Cottonwood Creek) and there are no guides listed.

Would anyone be willing to meet up with me and play a round at each? My treat on Lunch/Dinner if it works out. I simply don't want to waste time looking for next tees and in the trouble areas on blind shots that I could otherwise avoid with "local knowledge" along.

Shoot me a PM if you are available sometime Sep 28th-30th.
Thanks,
-Ben

I know "colodiscgolfer (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/member.php?u=7048)" lives in springs and is a friendly guy. Look him up.

DGCR's member directory (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/mem_browse.php?country=1&city=colorado+springs&state=7&zip_distance=75&zipcode=&dgcr_min=&dgcr_max=&pdga_min=&pdga_max=&rating_min=&rating_max=&reviews_min=&reviews_max=&played_min=&played_max=&mname=&age_min=&age_max=&yearsplaying_min=&yearsplaying_max=&tr_type=&gender=) should help too.

I've been to Cottonwood Creek couple times since my brother lives less than 2 miles away from the course.

There's course map sign near Tee #1 and the course are fairly straightforward and little busy with players and non-players around the park.

Took me less than an hour to play alone. Not too many brushes or trees that can hide the discs well except for the first three holes, that's all. You might able to spot local players and join them.

Have fun! :)

I live in boulder. Never played the co springs courses. Not exactly in my
neck of the woods.

Yeah, I'm retarded. For some reason which I cannot currently fathom I got Boulder and Springs mixed up. Pardon my brain fart.

Steve and Kathy Hardyman (AKA Disc-Diva) live in the Springs. Good people who would probably show you around. Contact them through their website (I think it's disc-diva.com don't forget the hyphen).
