This course has been in the works for a long time, I hear all about it but all I'm told is you need a map or a guide. It's finally listed on here. To be honest it seems no one uses the local club's website, no updates since june to any forums. Any info would be great, a map would be even better.

look under lindsey park tyler tx, it's listed as the gold course. sorry, everyone else calls them red blue and gold, but the folks in the club here in town call them dogwood, cedar and something else.

I added it to this site as Lindsey park - Gold. (dogwood creek) but it got edited.

It is one of the hardest courses I've ever played.

everything i've read says it's impossible to navigate without help, is that true? they're using it in the tourney coming up and i'd like to play it before i even consider entering

It would have been impossible to navigate when I played it in September. We actually tried but gave up because we knew the Rose City club would be playing it in the morning so we went back the next day. The club plays a tag/ace pot early on Sundays at Lindsey but they rotate what course they play. The tees were not even really marked when we played it. Concrete will be in before the Piney Woods event in December but I don't know specifically when.

Played it today. The tee boxes are marked with bright pink wooden stakes, the paths are pretty well beaten in now. Check out the review and the pics I posted today if you are interested in playing. It took a lot of exploring to figure out the course, but it's a very good one, and I look forward to playing it again.
