I wanted to start this post for disc golf addicted junkies, so that we can all share some of the smaller and lesser known courses with more people. Here are some of the lesser known courses I have played, that I think others will greatly enjoy. By 'others' I mean people who love extreme challenge, tight woods, and borderline dangerous elevation changes.
Winter Park in Kewaunee WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2030)
Wildcat Bluff in Urbana IA (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/reviews.php?id=2011&mode=rev)
Standing Rocks in Plover WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1866)
Sandy Point in Lac du Flambeau WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=748)
Justin Trails in Sparta WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2505)
Tower Ridge in Eau Claire WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1926)
These are definitely worth a play if you are within a 100mile radius of the area!!
Please post others that are off the beaten path and not as popular as the "Top 10" on this site.

with all the talk about Lemon Lake, IMHO go north and play Rogers Lakewood in Valporasio... I have yet to play the silver/gold course at Lemon, but compared to red/blue, valpo buries them so deep you can't even pipe light to them... (I recently took some ppl out to valpo, and they liked it more than Tyler in PA)
also, Winter Park is awesome... there's a few rough spots, and the tees need some love, but it is an INSANE (in a good way) course...
my cousin (not a dg player, her BF is though) used to live in Sparta, I keep hearing more and more GREAT things about Justin Trails

If I had to choose between valpo or lemon I would probably pick lemon just becuase it has 4 courses....but valpo is definetly a go-to if you have never been there!

If you are playing the Tower Ridge (Eau Claire, Wis.) courses; and they are definitely worth a play....add Lambs Creek @ Pioneer Grill (designed by one of the younger Highbridge contributing designers....crazy with water toughness....and you can get yourself a nice beverage before teeing off and stop in again during the round)....and the Axl Dog course. This is a private course; not sure why it's not on the site; but, I can't find it. Steve Kindy (sp?) runs it and will give you the tour. Awesome course with lots of elevation and grand views. Took us @three hours to play; and he toured us around on his four wheeler. (715) 643 - 9287 is Steve's number.

Wildcat Bluff is definitely awesome -- i was lucky enough to play that on a business trip to Iowa recently...nobody there except a few locals, i have no clue why not more crowded as it is a stellar course
i've got one to add in GA -- flyboy aviation -- about 45 min west of Atlanta of Interstate 20; private but listed with contact info via PDGA's directory (http://www.pdga.com/course_directory/course/fly-boy-aviation-dgc-north...not on DGCR yet) This is a must play if coming through north GA. it's continually improving & is currently a 27-hole course with many par 4's & 5's (par = 100); some of the best water holes anywhere; the world's longest hole (1600' on a runway); and the venue is as cool as The Grange in VA. owner is an awesome guy to boot.

Winter Park in Kewaunee WI (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2030)
A thinly veiled plug for your own course! For shame! ;)
Next time I'm back in the homeland I'm getting to Winter Park for sure.

WildCat Springs is great! I wished I could have finished the course. We made it to 10 and had to call it because it was too dark. I almost lost my disc on hole 10 because I couldn't see where it landed. Next time I'm in Iowa, I plan on hitting this course again!

If you want a Challenge, I would recommend:
Pioneer Park at rodeo
(http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=844)in Ft Madison, Iowa.
around hole 12 you can split off and play
Scenic Drive at Rodeo park (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=843) as well to make a 36 hole course
Just pay attention to the cons in the reviews if you play Pioneer, it can be frustrating for first timers.
I didn't get to play the Scenic Drive part, at the time I had no Idea what it was. It sounded like an alternative route to get to hole 16 of the course we were playing.

You stole the one I was going to say :) Those are definitely great. Also Indian Hills Community College and Memorial Park in Ottumwa. They are not the technical beasts like Pioneer and Rodeo, but more championship style courses that just aren't reviewed a lot yet. IHCC has a 5 star rating in just 3 reviews, and memorial got a 4 the first one.
Out of my state:
The tower ridges in wisconsin are awesome, both of them. I even got my first ace on tower ridge new :)
In MN, river rock dgc is a sweet little 9 holer with lots of water to throw over

Are you from Iowa, I'm from Ottumwa. Hills is awesome! In fact I just wrote a review about it! Hole 13 ate my Beast! I liked Memorial Park as well! What sucks is they put the courses in after I moved out of Ottumwa! LOL I just got back from Iowa about a week ago. While I was there, Me and a friend spent one day and played Fairfield, Mt Pleasant, Dankwardt in Burlington, Pioneer in Ft Madison, and finished up across from Keokuk at Wildcat. Which is why it got dark on us! lol That was a great day!

I live in Fairfield, grew up there. I go to IHCC for programming right now and am currently on the newly made IHCC disc golf team and club. Hole 13 ate my tracker in tourney the other day, then 14 ate my flash. The tracker skipped almost all the way across the pond, and dropped in about 4-5 feet from the edge. 14 I clipped the tree on accident and that caused it to dive into the water, right by the fountain. That course can be pretty brutal, especially on a windy day.
BTW I think there is actually another course in Ottumwa... or they are thinking about ANOTHER course. sheesh, 4 18 hole courses in a town of about what, 20-25k people? I'm not complaining any :)

For Virginia, New Quarter in Williamsburg and Walnut Creek in Charlottesville are both fairly remote but not to be missed if you're anywhere near them.

I've been wanting to play Va-Du-Mar for a while now. It sounds like fun. It's not too far down the road, maybe some Sunday afternoon I'll be able to convince some buddies to go that way on I-85 instead of towards Charlotte.

There are a couple of private property courses in the area where guys get real huffy puffy about not letting anybody have any info about them, but if your invited on a certain day at a certain time then your o.k.(seems wierd like some secret fraternity almost) Sometimes they have tourneys and doubles and they put out the word to come, but if you show up any other time they'd tell you to leave. I understand how they want to protect their DGC from all the problems that people on here are always complaining about though like (trash, vandalism, theft, bad attitudes, bums, fights etc...). I was trying to get permision from a guy to post his course on the DGCR registry bacause he has doubles and tourneys once in a while and it seems only logical to put the course online to be able to check out its info prior to going there but he's yet to tell me its o.k so it remains sort of a hidden (not so) secret for the moment i guess.

Yadkin and Fox Chase both have strong support amongst the local community, and both are only an hour from Charlotte.
The other Charlotte area-course I think that gets overlooked by the big name courses (Renny, Bracketts, Winthrop) is Stumpy Creek. (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=706) It's only 20 minutes from Brackett's Bluff, so it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.
Two other courses I've played that I feel deserves a mention are Rose Lane (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=706) in Toccoa, GA, about 20 minutes off I-85, just over the border from SC. The other is Crooked Creek (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=565) in Chapin, SC, 30 minutes from Columbia.

You should get in touch with me. We typically spend a day out there the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We play a fun safari or backwards round, then move all the pins to the winter spots and (after lunch and beers) play a 27 hole round. It's typically good but wear some blaze orange because we border DNR land and there are sometimes idiot hunters who don't know where they are.

This is my home course and have played it probably a hundred times, so I know how this goes. One misplaced shot can really jack up your score, but it is still great nonetheless.
This is probably the best time of the year to play this course in my opinion. Just be sure to bring leaf friendly discs.

Devens in Massachusetts....I'm a PA disc golfer and that place was the funnest course I have played to date! It gets no love due to a few low early reviews by people who don't like hills or trees I am guessing?

Campton Hills (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/gallery.php?id=704&mode=gal) in St Charles, IL is hands down the best 9 holer I have played. It is tops on my list since it is very unique and very cool. It has the highest fun-factor on any course I have ever played! The holes are short, but the elevation and creativity of the hole shapes and use of that terrain is extremely well done. There is no need for drivers out there, in fact a worthy/addicting challenge is shooting a 6 down (21) just with a putter. The pictures do not do the course justice since they do not capture the elevation well, but this one shows the 3 routes to an elevated basket quite well:
