Anybody want to meet up?
I'm taking the day after my birthday off. There's a possibility that I may be a little too "foggy" and not make it. We'll see. ;)

I woulda met you for sure... But, NC is far awat from my home course.
Go to Sylmar. Definitely more possibility of running into locals to play with (although, OG's weekly is Wednesday afternoon so they could all be there)...
But... to celebraate your birthday in style I would comit to going to DeLa (it is on your wish list)... and, if that's too much then I know Waller Pines isn't (also on your wish list).
Do It!

I just got back from a surprise trip to San Diego so I'm not looking to drive very far. I was thinking morning round at Chavez and afternoon at Sylmar...but the OG thing is making me think Sylmar AM and OG PM.
Decisions, decisions.

When you go to Sylmar, ask Gary in the Pro Shop what time it's going down at OG. I think 3 in the winter.
With that said... it's 1:38 from Ventura to Santa Maria... and, it's 1:05 from Ventura to Sylmar
So, technically it's not that much more driving, you check the wish list, play a "NEW to you" course, and have an EPIC day. (and possibly play Preskier too - haven't been there myself).
But, if you do go out to Sylmar... say what up to the fellas for me... and tell them I said to give you one of my 'discjunky' stickers.

Wow. You're really messing with my head now. I appreciate the advice though it may end up that I've gone and ruined myself the night before.
I know Gary. He aced 16 at my course. (with Steve Rico on the card) Who the hell aces our top of the world with a s-curve forehand?

That's f'ing funny. That's Gary... sidearms and hyzer putts.
And, don't ruin yourself. The Wish List is too important.
Good Luck... and Happy Birthday!

Thanks a lot. I'll report back with what happens.
2 rounds at Sylmar and 1 at Oak Grove.
Sylmar Round 1: +8, Hangover took it's toll.
Sylmar Round 2: 0, 2 birdies 2 bogies. Hair of the dog seemed to help.
OG: Even starting at 3:30 wasn't good enough. Had to play most of the back 9 in the dark. I don't even know what my score was.

Three rounds sounds good to me. Any one at Sylmar? Did you get a sticker? Hows Sylmar looking these days?

I saw Gary and told him you said "What's up?" I didn't ask for the sticker though.
Sylmar was looking pretty good. Much better than I remember. Everyone we met was really nice. There were fat squirrels by the proshop that would eat out of your hand.
