There is a glow golf tournement at Ace Run Ranch in Suffolk VA on Saturday night 6:00 PM 11-1-2008. I cant find concrete directions to the course. I have found three different directions all within a 10 mile radius. Anyone know how to get there??

This will get you in the vicinity:

Directions: Hwy 58 to downtown Suffolk. Get on Hwy 13 south for 8 miles. The course is 10 miles from the North Carolina line.

Taken from my "U.S. Course Guide" housed in the Files section of the DG Course Reviews Yahoo Group.

I just spoke with Don and got the directions that i needed. I will hopefully take some pics on Sunday and upload them to the site as well as update and review. Olorin, I see you have played this course. Any thoughts on it?

Well, I played it in 2001 so take that into consideration.
I rated it 7 out of 10. It's got a solid reputation. Mix of long open and tight holes.

Here's a good synopsis from Jeff LaGrassa, in May 02:
Except for a few shorter holes on the back nine, and especially when most of the baskets are set in the long position, "Ace Run" Ranch is somewhat of a misnomer. Most of the holes at this course play fairly long and/or exceptionally tight, and even deuces are a challenge, let alone aces. This course alternates from a tight wooded area to an open field. It also features man-made elevation changes, an island green and even "crawdad" mounds. With 'gauntlet' holes like #8 and #13, Ace Run Ranch is even tighter! The cement tee pads, bag holder posts and benches on every tee make this is one fantastic world class disc golf facility, and well worth the $5 admission fee.

Are you playing in the Fall Colors in NN that day Riley? Definately have to post up picks and good directions if they are bad. Enjoy!
