I had to go to Pennsylvania recently for some family business. Figured I'd take my bag and see what the area had to offer up for disc golf courses. My stops (in order) were Lime Bluff - Hughesville, Prompton - Honesdale, Hickory Run - White Haven and F.E. Walter Dam - Lake Harmony. It rained quite a bit while I was there, so wet and muddy was a common theme.

The courses all had some good points and bad, but I was just happy to get out and play in my home state. (for the first time) Two things that stand out in my memory - Prompton has red Discatchers in place for the alternate holes which I think is pretty cool. And, the wooden walkways at F.E. Walter - never seen anything like that before. Now, I'm back in Colorado waiting for some of my local courses to dry out a little. That's ok, I can pass some time with off-roading. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiG2sTUSY-k

Next time you should play some of the Lehigh Valley courses the Worlds (2005?) were there have some courses I would rate as must play over FEW, Prompton and Hickory Run

Jordan Creek, Little Lehigh Parkway, Nockamixon, and Tyler State Park (not lehigh valley, but not too far) are all rated well, with Tyler being listed as one of the top courses on this site.

Those are some sweet pics and the weather looks nice in them

Played Lime Bluff yesterday. Pretty open course with man made obstacles. The whole course was swampy from rain and snow melt. In 5-10 years when the trees get bigger, this should be one hell of a course.

Lime Bluff, FEW, and Hickory Run are the three courses I've played in PA on trips to Berwick to visit family. Definitely some variety in that area, my favorite was FEW Dam too, a very unique course.
