This next summer I am planning to road trip to Kansas City.
Mainly going to take I-69 south to Indianapolis.
Then taking I-70 through St. Louis on the way to Kansas City.
Looking for courses to play along the way.
And clubs in the area of such courses.
Its about a 9 hour drive. I want to do it in 2-3 days.

Lots of good courses that way. If I-80 weren't so far out of the way (you could cut north-south on 35 or 55), I'd suggest doing one leg of your trip that way (I'm assuming you gotta get back home).
Here are links to the local clubs websites in Missouri:

http://www.cdgc.org/ (Columbia, MO)

Between challenge or convenience to get to the courses, what would be more your preference?

I want to play good level courses.
I would be interested in heading up that way if there is some nice courses.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but what are the main courses in the Ft. Wayne area? I'm going around Christmas and wanted to play. Surrounding area is also okay!

Shoaff park and Swenney parks. I like Swenney more but I don't have a big arm. Both 18. You can find more on this site.If you have a full day of nothing but disc and you want to play some of the better courses in the state my I suggest checking out the Peru area, about a hour west of Ft.Wayne.

Dave, if you haven't yet played camp cullom in Frankfort,In. It's a MUST play!! I posted a review and the pics the the dgcr page. It will add about 3 hours to your trip, but well worth it! The 3 hours includes drive time from the N.W. corner of I-465 to the course. The course itself is a 2.5 mile hike and take you maybe 2hours to play.

if you have the time and can dip south a bit off I-70,come on down to centralia,il. we have probably the finest course in so. il. if not ALL of il.(do a little research, check around, see what others have say).check the course reviews....
then you can cut over west to st.louis.

If you are going to be in Ft. Wayne, there is a great wooded course in New Haven, just East of Ft. Wayne, called Moser Park and Swinney has a full 36 holes of goodness in downtown Ft. Wayne. However, yes, between Mississinewa, Mocanaquah, Pieradise and Honey Bear, Peru probably is a better bet for a disc golf destination.

Along I-70 I can recommend Deming Pk in Terre Haute, IN. Souix Passage and Jefferson B in St Louis
are both very good, Kansas City has lots of good to great courses, I love Waterworks.
