There is a tournament at my school (Johnson State college) for the students and it is a glow round. It snowed here for the past two days (2-3 inches) and was wondering how hard if it is to find the discs in the snow and at night. We are all getting free glow sidewinders, and I was just wondering if anyone had this experience.

I'd tape some LEDs to those bad boys. 2-3" doesn't sound bad, but that does have the possibility of getting ugly. OR, you could be the first one out there after it melts and score a bunch of plastic.

Yeah, also see if you can get one of those pocket blacklights (I know someone knows the actual name) so you can charge it up before each drive and watch it blind everyone.

with 2-3 inches the disc can go under the snow like a blanket and I assume that seeing the glow will not be very likely. But i'll tell you how it goes tonight at 8:30

The glow of the disc in the snow was kinda hard to see, so I taped my glow stick to the disc and that made it great. With the glow stick attached I was throwing normal shots and not running after my disc after every shot and not worrying about losing my disc in the snow like everyone else was. I even won the tournament shooting even. YEAH!!!

No, but I have a camera flash that is fun to use like this. You have to look away though cause the thing lights up the tops of trees it is so bright...

I use a camera flash also - it works very well - but scott is right, look away when you use it...

I can verify that this one works great for charging a glow disc:
http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754902

Here's another one that google turned up:
http://www.amazon.com/Urine-Off-Finder-Black-Light/dp/B000GAAHIE

These have the advantage that you won't disrupt your night vision while charging up the glow disc.

Also works well to completely gross yourself out by looking for bodily fluid stains in hotel rooms.
