ive heard that this course is sick from a few friends who have played it. both them and the course info strongly suggest that you have a guide.

any central california coast locals play this course regularly? you should volunteer to guide! i would love to make a trip north, including that course in the itinerary, but am hesitant due to the lack of guides.

Would definitely help to have a guide since it is an object course...really that was the only reason why I didn't play there on a recent roadtrip through (that and I had a bunch of other courses to hit up :)
