No joke. I fell a little over a year ago and screwed up my knee for many months. Stuff that 10 years ago wouldn't have kept me down a weekend take me weeks to recover from.

I would not play in snow. We have had very little precipitation the past couple of years in winter. I love it mostly b/c I have a steep @ss driveway. I have fallen in ice and snow on it about 3X and it SUCKS! I don't fall like I used to. That's one thing I've noticed about getting old.

I have been trying to relearn how to throw in snow, as we hardly had any last year and very little this year. I miss it. Playing in blizzard conditions with a white disc is one of the most rewarding dg experiences.
