I'll start by saying I agree with you on Valmont. It's a very fun local course that's a great approach practice. I think your rating is spot on, but disagree with one thing. The courses are to be rated subjectively, and while I know there was a lot of effort put into gettin this course, that doesn't make it a better course. It's also worth noting that the first review was done before concrete tees and before 1-7(?) were in. I can see it being pretty dismal then. Again, I enjoy the course and completely agree with your review, but wanted to put my 2 cents in. Fair winds, and maybe I'll see you out there!!
