Hehe, STILL laughing my ass off at that slide comment the other day.

You now have the dubious distinction of being the only forum member to be quoted in my signature.

Yeah not years. Things usually move pretty quick once they are going but with lots of hockey games on weekends there won't be a lot of time to work. I do have mon and wed open for a couple hours now.

Longest part will be the chassis work...one slip and you've hosed it.

Yeah parts first is fine, could even do it in chunks. Chassis is #1, preamp #2, amp #3

Yeah, I'm in no real rush. Could you give me a ball park estimate, though? We're talking some months, not years or anything, right?

How would you feel about the possibility of parts payment so you can get started on it (depending on the "timeline" you semi-propose ), and then the rest maybe later-ish...just throwing that out.

Sweet, look forward to working on it. Just don't force a timeline on me, I won't doddle but one of the things that made me stop building was working deadlines.

LUL, yeah, I thought that thing was pretty tits.

It was as hard as a rock when I found it (frozen), I was really surprised at how much more gummy-ish it had gotten after thawing out.

Nice little bit of pearl, good stuff.

Glad you like it. I might be able to swing the parts-payment for the receiver sooner than I thought. I dunno, I'll have to do some accounting once my tax returns come in.
