I have been throwing my BF 174 since they were released and am loving it because it turns plenty but always hooks up at the end for me. I would prefer to buy a sparklelucid or lucid at about 170 with mild dome and a standard plh if it will not be a cut roller machine like my buddies first run was. Now that the dust has settled a little, are all the of the lucid/sparkle, fuzion, and biofuzion coming out with similar stability? By the way is biofuzion a mix of fuzion and lucid waste or what?

I was playing in a tourney recently and we were putting at an elevated basket. There was a slope surrounding the basket.

One of the players putted, hit the cage and the disc came rolling back towards her. She made no attempt to get out of the way and let the disc hit her feet. Had she moved and let the disc continue on its path it would have rolled pretty far away from her previous lie.

Is there some kind of rule that players should make every attempt to get out of a disc's path?

Okay, so I was watching martyhmcgee's latest video on youtube, which is coverage of KC's card at the US Master's.

Watching some of the really open/long holes got me thinking. In ball golf, on championship caliber courses, players have to try and aim for the fairway on most holes (even if it is very open with no trees) because the grass off of the fairways will likely hinder their second shots.

In disc golf, if we want to "punish" bad shots then it almost always comes in the form of trees/shrubbery. But what if we marked the fairways and then if you landed in a fairway, you could run up for your second shot. If you missed the fairway and landed in the rough, then you would be forced to throw from a standstill. I think this would very closely mimic a "bad lie" in ball golf.

Before I get berated...I know disc golf is NOT ball golf, but this is just one way that we could add some challenge to the game, especially on courses that do not have many natural obstacles. Also, I know that the current method of creating fairways is by marking everything else OB, however this can sometimes be too harsh of a punishment unless the fairway is VERY LARGE. I think there could be fairway, rough (area where you must throw from standstill), and then OB.

Again, I know that some people will throw from a standstill even if they have the option to run up, but this is more of a rule that would affect 2nd shots that were still 250+ ft out.

Okay, now I'm ready to hear how bad of an idea this is. GO!

When searching for tackle bags on Amazon this is the first one that comes up. Its only $20. Tried searching the forum but didnt see it mentioned.

Ive never attempted a DIY bag before. Do you DIY pros think this bag has any potential as a disc golf bag?

http://www.amazon.com/Ready-Fish-Sof...rds=tackle+bag

Then here are two youtube videos that give you sort of a tour of the bag.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsI9rwbS2Ng
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsFSjo-5NNY

It seems to have the room in the main compartment for a frame and discs.
